Language of Instruction: Portuguese.

Teaching Mode: All activities of teaching and learning of this course will be conducted online, under virtual classroom environment, according to the Pedagogical Model applied at UAb, for the courses of the first cycle, with the exception of courses Field Work I and II (2nd year course), held in b-learning, with classroom activities for 5 days each (including the weekend).

Goals / Employment: The Degree in Environmental Sciences is aimed specifically at the following audience, either within the public or private sectors: central administration staff, regional decentralized services, and local administration; rural and eco-tourism managers; managers of small business offering services in the area of the production and commercialization of organic products; public and private companies working in the field of environmental sciences; technicians in museums, botanical gardens, zoos, aquariums, nature conservation centers and regional development associations; tourist guides interested in developing ecotourism projects; members of NGOs and organizations concerned with environment, social intervention and local development.

Acess to Further Studies: This degree offers the possibility of access to the Master 's Degree in Environmental Citizenship and Participation or Doctoral degree in Sustainability science and development, according to their entry requirements.
