Course Description:
The Spanish VI module is intended for students who plan to consolidate their ability to analyze texts of any kind, having a clear idea of the goals of texts, ulterior motives and very closed expressions.

It is intended to develop the communication skills of students (understand and produce written and oral texts, well structured and very complex) as well as language skills (analyzing and comparing linguistic topics of textual models, conjunctions and cohesion mechanisms). Corresponds to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.



Competences:
Along this course the student will acquire Spanish notions corresponding to this level:

Can easily understand virtually everything heard or read. Can summarize information from different spoken and written sources, reconstructing arguments and accounts in a coherent presentation. He/she is able to express himself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, being able to distinguish fine shades of meaning even in more complex situations.

•Repeat, tell and sumarize what’s been said before.
•Remind someone of something.
• Agree or desagree to specicfic information.
•Expressing likes and dislikes, wishes and feelings.
•Describe and express opinions that can later be evaluated in a possitive or negative way.
•Expressing doubts.
•Expressing surprise.
•Expressing complaints, protests and arguments.
•Make suggestions and recomdations.
•Ask and give advice.
•Accept and reject advice.
•Speech organisation: Recognize and use speech markers to point out the strenght of relations and ideas;  extract relevant information to summarize; select relevant information by contrast or comparison of ideas; reply to outside intervention through replication; continue other interventions for example, arguments and formulations; make a start, change the subject and finish an oral or written text.
•Control of oral communication: Provide a word or expression to conversational partner; request information about a word or phrase that has been forgotten; clarify the meaning or intent of the conversation by sumarizing.
•Give permission to someone.
•Praise and react to a compliment.

Assessment:
Continuous assessment is mandatory: 2 digital written documents (e-folios) during the semester (40%) and a presence-based final exam (p-folio) in the end of the semester (60%).
