Course Description:
The themes related to the technologies, the resources that can be used and the media that can be mobilized are elements of mandatory presence in the skills currently required, essentially for two reasons. The first is related to the social consensus and conviction that today, as in the near future, any citizen who does not have a minimal knowledge of these technologies is, in fact, a functional illiterate, being compromised their social and professional integration and the possibility of pursuing studies at advanced levels. The second is related to the fact that the functional structure of learning models, particularly in higher education, is changing rapidly, focusing more and more on research and using sources of information that are increasingly plural and strongly supported by technological platforms. In this sense, this UC that deals with the thematic areas of information technology integrates a set of contents that constitute the basis to guarantee to the individual the acquisition of knowledge and skills considered minimum for the understanding and use of Web resources and consequent mobilization of several media.
