Course Description:
This course has as its main object the study of architectural heritage as a place / space for the meeting of the most prominent manifestations of religion. Synagogue, mosque and cathedral will be analyzed from the point of view of art and space, in order to characterize its architectural profile. The main religious professions will be addressed in comparison.

Recognizing the major architectural testimonies of the religions in study
Relating the religious profession with the types of architecture and its organic.

3 - Types of Christian Architecture (between the Middle Ages and the Contemporary Era)

Assessment:
Continuous assessment is privileged: 2 or 3 digital written documents (e-folios) during the semester (40%) and a presence-based final exam (p-folio) in the end of the semester (60%). In due time, students can alternatively choose to perform one final presence-based exam (100%).


Comments:
Students are required to have access to a computer with Internet connection and an e-mail address as well as to have computer literacy from the users' perspective.
