The knowledge, patterns or trends extraction from database is a basic tool in decision support systems, which are applied in medium-sized businesses. This area is closely linked to databases techniques, statistics and machine learning.Competences:
At end of this course each student shall be able to:
•Recognize the role and importance of data mining within the general context of the medium-sized businesses in the today’s information and knowledge society;
•Identify the main techniques, methodologies and tools for data mining considering large volume databases;
